What We Believe

THE SCRIPTURES: The Bible is inspired and the only infallible and autoritative Word of God. (2Tim 3:16, 2Peter 1:21)

THE GODHEAD: There is one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. ( 2 Cor: 13-14, Duet. 6:4, Isa. 43:10)

MAN - HIS FALL AND REDEMPTION: Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God. Man, by voluntary transgression, fell and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ. ( Gen. 1:26-31; Gen. 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21)

ETERNAL LIFE AND NEW BIRTH: Man's first step toward salvation is Godly Sorrow that worketh repentance. The new birth is neccessary to all men, and when fullfilled, produces eternal life.

( John 3:35; 1John 5:12; 2 Cor. 7:10)

WATER BAPTISM: Baptism in water by immersion is a direct commandment of our Lord and is for believers only. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christians identication with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection.

BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT: The Baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in the dispensation and its received subsequently to the new birth. The initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit give utterance may accompany this experience. (Matt. 3:11; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4, 38-39; Acts 19:1-7)

DIVINE HEALING: Healing was purchased for us wholly: body, soul, and spirit. It is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is a privilege of every believer (Isa 53:4-5; matt 8:16-17; 1 Peter 2:24) www.picnik.com or www.photo.net - both are fun and free)
